Professional translator and conference interpreter with more than 20 years’ experience at high level international meetings, Camila began her career as a conference interpreter at the European Parliament. She soon became a permanent interpreter for the European Commission.
From Brussels she moved to Ireland. While continuing to work freelance for the EU institutions she also established a network of national and international clients in the public and private sectors, including organisations such as the UN, OECD, WTO and the ECB) and private (financial, technical, scientific, medical, legal and commercial), interpreting and translating in a wide range of international events.
Back in Mallorca, Camila continues to expand her client base and skills as conference interpreter and translator across a wide spectrum of events, among them, Ministerial and Presidential meetings and summits of Prime Ministers and Heads of State. She has also interpreted at meetings and seminars held by the Government of the Balearic Islands.
Camila has vast experience as a consultant interpreter and organises interpretation services for multilingual events.
SILVANA EK is an accomplished international conference interpreter and sworn translator since the year 2000.
She has interpreted simultaneously and consecutively at international seminars, conferences and meetings for heads of state, international corporations, government institutions, private and public companies and organisations in Mallorca and abroad. She has assisted and interpreted in private company meetings and negotiations, organised teams of interpreters in different languages for international seminars, and has a broad experience in sworn translation in the fields of law, economy and science.
She has a Masters degree in Conference Interpreting by the London Westminster University, a post-degree in Medical Conference Interpreting and a university degree in Translation and Interpreting both by the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Her language combination is Spanish, English, Catalan and French.

Jaime, holding Spanish and French nationality, is fully bilingual in both languages. He works as a conference interpreter and simultaneous translator on the island of Mallorca and has extensive experience in regional, national and international congresses, in the public and private sectors. Jaime not only masters his two native languages but also has a deep knowledge of both countries, Spain and France, which contributes to the quality of his work.
Jaime graduated in Theology (Toulouse) and French Studies (Valencia). He has a Master in Conference Interpreting (Cluny Institute of Madrid) and an MFA in Creative Writing (Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona).
MAITA MARTORELL THÜMMLER, born in Palma de Mallorca, multilingual upbringing, has been working as free-lance translator and interpreter since 1998. Took translation and conference interpreting diploma at the University of Granada, Spain and graduated as a conference interpreter at the Munich Institute of Language and Interpretation, Germany. Registered by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an officially denominated and sworn translator for Spanish and German. She has worked as a translator and conference interpreter in the context of numerous international conferences and conventions in the public and private realms, both on the island of Majorca and abroad. She is also frequently active as an interpreter in court. Maita is firmly convinced that Majorca has a great future as a popular convention venue.
